When lifting a JK unlimited, do you think it will need a .5" spacer in the front to level it out? It is a spring lift, not pucks.

Thanks!
Chris

Yes (well depends)

I have the TF 2.5" coil lift, and the front were already long (closer to 3" for front coils), and with the stock bumper, it sat fine, rake was gone, but the minute i added the front bumper and winch, even with 3/4" coil spacer, it still has some rake again. I definitly thinks its worth putting some spacers in while doing the lift if you have plans like that. I drove mine with spacers and no bumper or winch for a few month, and it looks good then, but lost an inch after the mods...

I used a .75 and it leveled it out.

The factory rake is much greater then the TJ. I am about factory now after bumper/winch.

Defintely spacer if you plan on adding anything (bumper, winch) up front. They do have a much more noticable rake than the TJs did.

This is a 2.5" skyjacker lift. He has Roger's old bumper on it now and looks to get a winch. I think I will suggest the .75" and see what that does.

Yes, def atleast the .75" spacer.... I have been thinking of going to a 1" TF spacer just to get rid of the last little bit of rake.

I'm glad I added the spacer...esp after I added the bumpers and winch!

YES! DO IT! Smile

They're the coils I run Chris with a bumper and winch, I am back to near factory rake (a little less) with the .75 spacers. Eaiser to put them in now then after you don't like the look of it or need it!

That is my philosophy too. Now this may be a dumb question, are they the same as the TJ spacers?

They look like them, fit on top of the coil, or spacer if a BB, but the TJ ones won't work as the spring and where is seats are different size.
