Where do you get the "H2 Recovery Vehicle" stickers from :
Poor lady was heading back home from bringing her kids to piano practice when she edged off the snow covered road to avoid a large truck. She plowed into the snow bank and got stuck.
She was pretty shook up when I got there. I stopped, dug her front tire free, secured my tow strap and 4LO BUS did its thing!
One free Hummer H2 and one happy mom along her way .

Lets see. Didnt get to pull anyone out during the december snow but two weekends ago I Pulled out an old minivan with 5 people in it, the guy was trying to drive on unplowed side streets in 2 feet of snow. Ended up pulling him up a near by hill for about a half a mile and did it in 2hi just to challenge myself
Little bit later I pulled my roommates 4wd explorer up a hill after he lost traction and started sliding down the wrong way... again 2hi and never lost grip.
the next day driving out of my apartment complex pulled out an old F-150 that was stuck on about 6 inches of solid ice... that one I did in 4hi with out slip and pulled him to the end of the road to a plowed street.
then I took it upon myself to plow my buddies driveway with my tires must have been 10+ ft tall rooster tails shooting into the air... very nice.
Other than that just enjoyed 2wd drifting in parking lots and slamming through 2 3foot high plow lines. So much fun. Won some money doing it too.

Saturday a 30' box truck (yeah the BOX was 30' long) tried to turn off of RT 123 east bound in McLean onto a side street (where the speed trap usually is just before Old Dominion). The got high centered on a big plow pile about 4 feet high.
Gave the driver and his two buddies my two steel digging shovels and told them to clear out tracks in front of and behind the rears. Did they every whine. Once clear I had one guy stop traffic while I backed up to the truck and hooked up my tree saver strap. Truck was so huge that I would have been across rt 123 and into a side street before he was out if I had used my 30' strap.
While getting hooked up several people tried to run over the guy stopping traffic, swerved around me into the median cross over without slowing down and going 30-40 mph. I start the pull in 4 low and have all four turning and we are just barely moving. Jeep slides left and right like a big pendulum but making forward progress and then someone flys in front of me going 30 or so. Tires hook up and I drag him free.
Unhook, get my shovels back and guess what? The TARD drives forward into the neighborhood. Cars parked on the road, off camber and hilly. He gets about 200 feet, slides sideways and gets stuck up against a parked car.
I just drove off. It was a big waste of time.

F250 out at the Dulles Expo. Dude parked it in a snow bank up to the axles cause parking was so bad figuring he'd be able to get out but couldn't. He sheepishly approached me from across the lot as I was leaving what follows is an exact quote.........
"Excuse me sir, you seem to have quite a rugged vehicle by any chance would you have a tow rope? I seem to be stuck and need help getting out....would you be able to help me?"
Out comes the strap, one good steady pull later from the stock LJ and he was on his way. His girlfriend smiling like a cat the whole time.
I love this damn Jeep!

Pulled an F-150 out twice, real simple. on my way home i got a call from someone because they're VW was stuck, i got there and they got pushed out but then he got stuck a few minutes later anyways... so i pulled him down his unplowed street all the way to his house so he could park it for the rest of the day. Then my friend call me because he was stuck in an unplowed neighborhood at the bottom of a big hill in a col-de-sac. he was definately stuck, neighbors came out to watch the recovery..pulled him all the way back up the hill after i got him unstuck..just to make sure. But the best and most difficult was the F-550 that was stuck at work. someone tried to drive it from the curb through a plowed snow bank with the plow half down, so it bottomed out on the chunks of ice. Took a little bit to yank it free but I had Jeff drive it while i pulled and we got it out. then i parked the ZJ and brought out the DD again.

Well, I finally got to pull someone out. Ironically, they were stuck in my driveway! I hired these guys to cut down/remove a fallen cedar tree from the storms. When he first got here and backed into the driveway, he got too far over to one side and into the mushy stuff. Then they cut up the tree and loaded the trailer which proceeded to sink into the snow and mud. When they tried to leave, the truck just spun and sunk itself in too.
First I had to pull them from behind so I could get around him (backed into the garage and ran the cable out the door) and then pulled them out of the driveway from the front.
Made my day!
