Sony Wega 60 TV
« on: October 19, 2017, 01:44:42 PM »
It might not be the newest technology anymore, but man I love this TV.  Bought it back in my bachelor pad days and now it doesn't fit in our house.  I have the stand and everything for it.  Just replaced the lamp this spring, so it's good to go.  The color is amazing, I honestly think it's better than the Samsung 3d tv my wife has that we use now.  It fits perfectly in a corner, and if you don't beat me up on the price I'll even deliver it within the NOVA area.

$200

It doesn't feel that heavy.  I can move it around a room by myself with the stand.  It takes 2 people to lift it, but that's just because it's big.

Ok, so it's actually 60 inches, not 55.  Couple pictures and CNET review:

It's not the latest and greatest but it's a solid TV that still competes with most wall mounted units.

Is this a tube TV?  If so, GLWS.  I tried and tried to GIVE two perfectly working TVs away and couldn't get it done.  Ended up paying to have the dump take them.
'03 Rubicon- 4.5" RE LA, 37"s, A bunch of skids by TNT, Poison Spyder, EMP, Rock Hard, Warn, Kilby and custom fab work.  CAI, Power chip, Exhaust, 4.88 gears and chromoly axles by Yukon. OBA and Powertank, one ton steering, Teraflex Swaybar system, MM 9500lb winch and a bunch of other stuff...

Not a tube thankfully, but it is a projection so it's not totally flat.

I have not tried to sell my 50 projection LCD that is sitting in my living room taking up space. If this sells, it will light a fire under my butt.

Good luck. And I mean it.

Thanks all, like I said I know it's not the flashiest TV going, but it works and the picture is great. Gotta be worth something right? Maybe? Hopefully? Bueller?.....

It has to be better than mine. It needs a new bulb. It works, but is dim compared to our new LCD

It cost me $90 for a new bulb this spring so it's nice and bright!
